Am I nuts??? How long do you spend with your horse each day ??

I'm not a faffer so generally in Summer I see Henry twice a day - mornings I put his mask on, evenings try and ride, or just spend a little time with him in the field. Autumn, see him in the evening for about 30 mins, while he gets fed in the field I'll chat to him, then I'm off home for some ME time! He's out 24/7... Weekends I spend a good few hours at the yard, riding, mucking out if he's been in etc.
Winter, if he's in at night I spend as little time as possible there tbh! It's cold, wet and dark and I do what's needed then get home to my lovely warm cats! But then if we had a floodlit indoor arena I might spend more time there!
 
I go to my horse weekdays from work so 4.30 until about 7pm.

At the weekend I usually compete one day then spend the whole of the other day down there just messing about.

My horse is on part loan so I get 2 days off in the week. I am not single but my OH isnt home from work until about 7pm usually so hes not bothered

I currently don't have a horse to spend all day with, butwould if I could. I used to work in a restaurant at night so I had all day to spend at the yard (8am-6pm) every day. Weekdays I had the yard to myself from 11-4 and although I had other jobs to do at least 3 hours was spent doing something with Biz. He had the cleanest legs and his tail and mane were always the perfect length and tangle free. Can't wait to get a new one next year! Though Man and Job may complicate things slightly!
 
You sound slightly mad to me!!
Occaisionally I like to spend a whole afternoon bumbling around but generally I'll prob spend a couple of hours at the yard most days

See my horse max 3 times a week and it's three hours between leaving my house and returning to it.

Bloody enjoyable 9 hours though
