Am I over-reacting?

One of mine does this but he lives out so he will follow people around and give them a little nudge or nibble thier hair if he dosnt get the attention he thinks he deserves! I know hus behaviour is down to me over fussing him and I dont care, we have our own private yard so dsnt really effect others but im sure its the real reason a friend moved hers off! Obviously free full livery wasnt compo enough to put up with my cheeky chap! New livery dosnt mind it though shes quite taken with him! Horses for coarses and all that!

Honestly if it was my horse I'd do everything I could to either stop him doing it or move him away from everyone else. A horse snapping his teeth at me is not acceptable IMO and whilst I think they are overreacting in the field I wouldn't want to be stabled next to him either - and IMO it's YOUR prerogative to move, not the other liveries.

We have a horse like this on our yard, he's now in a stable at the end of the line in an indoor barn so no-one has to go near him unless they are doing something with him (he's a part livery).

Not acceptable imo to air snap. I'd be tempted to have an anti weave grille so he couldn't snap at horses either side. Not everyone loves all horses, I personally couldn't give a damn for any but mine and if mine were doing what yours was re snapping, bhe'd get told, big time, verbally only, but it is quite worrying to have a horse snap at you!

please read full post- he doesnt snap at people walking by but if u stand infront if his stable n pime ur head over but ignore him when he comes over he snaps the air for attention. He DOESNT launch over door for you nor does he snap at horses.
