Am I over thinking this clipping question?

So I am an equine student and one of the questions in an assignment is what would the clipping/trimming requirements be for a horse in spring that used to pull carriages in Poland. I feel like it could be one of two, one being that due to them never having the temperature change we would have and so maybe always having a winter coat meaning they would need a heavy clip, likely a full clip as they would be struggling with the British spring with that kind of coat. Or is it that their coat would adjust to the seasonal change in England after awhile of moving and so they wouldn't need much or any of a clip?

Thanks for any help with this,

Lucy

What a bizarre random question! Depends on the current coat and the current temperatures and the workload of the horse. So I'd just say if..... then and not give a specific answer.

You do know, that Poland doesn't have winter all year round, right?
They might have more harsh wintermonths, but they also have summer and of course polish horses don't go around with a heavy winter coat all year.
So treat it just as any other horse - it's a horse, not an alien.
Seems like a really wierd question (on a test?)

Btw. horses from Iceland, the Faroe Islands etc. also shed their winter coats during summer.

Ah, thank you very much, I thought it seemed a bit strange. It's for an assignment on preparing a horse for presentation. I'm glad I asked otherwise I'd have put something really random!
