Hi

Am i right in thinking that Lucerne is the same as Alfalfa? Also has anyone got a horse that is allergic to Alfalfa/Lucerne??

Also has anybody had an allergic reaction in their horse due to feeding simple systems?

Yes you're right, Lucerne is Alfalfa. None of my horses are allergic to it - we grow alfalfa along with our mixes of grasses for our hay and all horses here are fed it with no ill effects.

I feed simple systems and mine have had lucie nuts all year with no ill efects' very satisfied with it too'
