am I right to be annoyed???

Well they've stuffed it up for themselves now. As said I'd never see a horse go with out but 4 days-ish after being brought in and they still haven't made provisions. Poor horse probably can't wait to get back outside so he doesnt have to see the owners himself :0)
 
Usually if a grass kept horse becomes lame, other liveries would rally round to ensure the horse has emergency hay/feed to see them through until the owner can sort their own feed.
Yes, having to share your space is inconvenient but that's part of being on a yard. The horse's welfare when ill, should be everyone's main concern.

It would be good manners to ask first!
 
He has an abscess needless to stay he's stood in his own urine all day and sometimes his bandage isn't changed once a day let alone twice! And there not hot poulticing to draw it out so think the horse on box rest for quite a while. There will be no more thieveing of my sruff tho as farmer has given me the go ahead to put all there stuff out the shed outside there stable and lock shed as its now mine.
