Am I the only one to do this? I save up one of my horses BSJA winnings in a little box and when it gets to a decent amount I buy him something nice with it since he earnt it! He's got £80 from last month, I would like to win a class this wkend so then I can buy him a brand new lavendar Thermatex with his name embroired in gold on both sides

Am I sad? What does everybody else do with their winnings (can obviously be BD or BE as well)?

I do the same! Infact Pip has hardly anything he hasn't earned, and same with Ginga probably.

Pip got a £160 new driving breast collar last time, and boots all round. He has haredly had anything else new actually, not even had any food as he has no hard feed and home made hay. When we win food I just give ut away, could sell it LOL. He is now up to a sizeble amount this year, but now its all going towards traveling to the world championships till after then when he will start saving again! He has his own piggy bank! Oh forgot to say, I take his entries and petrol money out of his bank too!

I think thats a great idea i would do the same, but i havent affliated my mare yet.
Hope you get on well at the weekend

Errrr - you do realise you already spent it in entry fees and diesel.... even if you came first!

Mine goes straight in the purse, good to have some cash as I try not to draw out from the hole in the wall!

Pays entries, diesel, feed, farrier, training, new tack whatever i need money for at that moment (horsey of course

) But yeah it all goes in a pot and pays for something horsey depending on the amount!

If I ever win owt it goes strait back to mum.... or strait for a session in the boozer!!
