I'm possibly, with a capital p going to buy a pony Ive been sharing. He's so sweet only young bit green but very calm and willing.Anyway I'm in my twentys and he's only 14.1 and I'm 5ft3 do you think that Im a bit tall for him? I know he can carry my weight fine. I havnt got any pics at the mo-well Ive got 1 but have no clue how to add-bit of a techneohobe lol. what do you all think? thanks

No way! you'll look fine on him. I'm 5'2" and ride a 14.2

I'm 5'9" and used to ride a 14.1 Arab and i looked fine on her. At 5'3", you'll be an ideal height.

I'm 5ft3 and i'm riding a 12.2 and she's fine with me, I look a bit silly though. I sat on my friends 14.2 when it was misbehaving and I looked fine. You should be about perfect size

Definitely not, I am 5'9 and ride a 15.1hh Welsh D, feel and look fine on him, everyone says so.

As they say, unless you have legs up to your armpits (in which case I hate you) you'll be fine. He may grow on a teeny bit as well.

I am just touching 5'2" on a good day - with cowboy boots on and my current riding horse is 14h. I am not really comfortable on anything over 15h, the vertigo kicks in after that, anyway, I can't get on

I'm the same height as you and my pony is the same height as your pony and I'm just right on mine

im about 6ft if not a wee bit taller and im made to ride my friend 15hh arab, as long as ur ballenced you'll be fine, horses arent as soft as we think they are, they are capable of carrying all shapes and sizes we'd never imagin half the time xx
