I'm 5ft 8", my Welsh D is 14.2hh, and we look just fine (according to everyone on here anyway

The only problem with jumping is finding a saddle to fit you both. I have a WH saddle as it suited B best, but leaves me barely any knee room to shorten up my stirrups for jumping. We've learnt to cope though!

I always grin when I read these posts. I'm 5'5", weigh 9st 7lb and my pony is a 12hh leg at each corner exmoor. He didn't have much work over the winter and I'm paying the price now. Can't deny that I look too big (and get the rude comments on most hacks to prove it), but I only hack him, am too wussy to jump much and he's never buckled yet. You look fine to me! Same goes for you, too, PennyJ!
