Am I too big for her?

I'm 5'4 and 8 stone and she's about 13.1/13.2, Forester type. Do you think I'm too big for her to do shows etc? Thanks

No way are you too big. I had a 13.2hh Forester an I weighted 10st he competed n Endurance including the Golden Horse Shoe (100 miles) over Exmoor.

He competed an was placed in many races and was never vetted out for lameness.

Go out and enjoy yourself,ponies can b such fun.

I also have a 14hh little Arab mare who at the age of 22 has just won a 50 mile race ride. Ponies ar a lot stronger than we think.

At 8 stone there's not a lot you'd be too big for
(I'm just jealous, I'll never see 8 stone unless I get a hideous disease lol) No way are you too big for the NF you mentioned.

Haha, well I just had a massive growth spurt (grew about 2 inches in a week!) so won't be able to ride the titchy ones for much longer!

I can't remember how much I would have weighed when I was tiny enough to ride a pony of that size! but there is no way that 8 stone is too much! if you ride long you legs might dangle down a bit but to be fair 5'4 is pretty short so im sure you look fine on him!

I always go by 1 stone for each hand when it comes to something hardy like a nf so you'll be good!
