You could have another 5 years or so of growing yet, but it varies.

Your family's probably basing their opinion on the average height of your immediate relatives. It's fairly reasonable to expect you to grow to around that height, but you could surprise them.

It's funny, because my sister is two years younger and she's already taller than me and so is my cousin, who is about 4 years younger, I suppose I'm one of the 'shorter' ones in the family' xD

Hey, I have my cob for over a year now, he is six this year. A few people on the yard I keep him at has mentioned that I am getting too tall for him. He is 14hh, and isn't really that chunky. I am what you may call a 'bigger' rider, I am about 5"3'/5"4', and I weigh 10 stone. Do you think I am too big/heavy for my cob?

'Bigger rider' at ten stone... That'll impress my 14yr old son... You might grow a bit more at 16...by my daughter #2 is the shortie of the family and I'm sure she stopped when she was 12...

We've recently come to the end of a loan of a gorgeous 14h pony because my 5' 9" son had a growth spurt and ended up with his legs hanging too low and the extra height above the saddle skewed him a bit... You might be a tad taller than you think... But so long as you feel comfortable and don't feel there's any negative impact on your riding then I'd say kick on and ignore everyone else... He's a nice looking fella and you're obviously very fond of him...

I do agree that your saddle might not be helping you much and check how you turn your stirrups to put your foot in just incase you've been told the wrong way... The stirrup side at the head end should turn outwards for you to slip your foot in - not the side at the rump end... I do see a lot of people using them the wrong way around...

I suppose a bigger saddle will help a lot, though weirdly I used to think it was too long for me when I first got it, I suppose I have grown more than I think. XD
