Am I too big for him?

I’m interested in this horse but I’m concerned I look too big on him…(my stirrups are pretty short here as I was jumping before this)

I’ll be doing a bit of everything on him.

Opinions appreciated before I commit :)

What an odd question? Not even close - and I often think people are too big/tall but I try not to be the one to tell them.
Not convinced the saddle is right for the both of you but would like to see your stirrups down a couple of holes on that saddle?

Why am odd question? I’m used to 17hh chunkier sport horses so it felt different being on him. Also it’s not my saddle as I was just riding him to try him out. I agree my stirrups are too short :)

So agree with Auslander, for jumping your stirrups are great but you will feel better in a saddle that allows your knee to sit in the knee roll

Have to agree to differ but with the stirrups down you wouldn't look so perched on top. He is a good looking horse so the only thing is do you feel comfortable.
