am i too old to learn to ride ?

I really want to learn to ride but I think I might be too old ? (I am 20)

do they do lessons just for adults?

Don't be silly - when I saw the question I thought you might be eligible for a bus pass!!:D The oldest student I had (who had NEVER ridden before) was in her 60s! She was afraid of being humiliated so I started her with private lessons - on the lunge. She actually ended up riding rather nicely (she was physically fit - which helped!)

You are never too old!

My DH had never been on a horse until he was 26. By the time I met him you wouldn't have known he hadn't been riding since a child.

My nan learnt to ride my 12.2hh when she was 58! Only person in my family that didn't ride. She used to just come and take me for walks through the woods as I wasn't allowed to hack by myself at 9! She actually started having lessons in the day when no one was about and did family pony with me a lot when she could walk trot and canter. 20 is nothing!
