Am i wrong??,

Hi all
Is it wrong of me ,has a friend today had a moan at me,has i was cutting back brambles away from the post and rail fencing that separates my field from the neighbours,and i was chucking the cuttings back over to the neighbours field,This neighbour after 3 years has just cut and baled the field,they have lost some of their field due to the brambles and i have a constant battle with the weeds etc that come through to our side.
So am i in the wrong for chucking the brambles back.

Nope.

Council thought it was "ok" to cut down the trees outside my field then chuck the trimmings into my field, its was a right mess and bloody loads! they went straight back over the fence, couldn't careless if it blocked the footpath and I emailed them with a snotty email, photos included
