Am loving my Bog pony today...

I rode before work this morning and had such a nice ride on my 5 year old and am completely in love with him today. We trotted and cantered most of the way round and he was so obliging. Cantered on a loose rein and did everything I asked of him.

I'm sure its all to do with the "talk" I gave him on New Years Eve about how he was going to be 5 in the morning and that 5 year olds are expected to behave far better than 4 year olds.

He's ace. I do love him a lot. I think he's quite fond of me too which is nice!!

Glad he is been good boy. Has hunting started again down there?

Yes - hunted on Sat although ground still wasn't quite ideal (still icy in patches where sun doesn't get to). All steam ahead now. Am not taking Bog until next Tues because I don't think he's done enough through ice/snow to be hunting. Should be back to full fitness by next Tues.
