Somethings you just have to share!

Today was the first time I longlined her out on the lanes, and only about the 5th time she has been 'worked' this year. (led her out a few times last year, and played with 'things' at home in the field too). She was brilliant!! She led the whole way - mum leading Meg behind us, she walked past scary boat wrapped in flappy tarporline, a large water mill wheel, and we went straight past the donkeys - previously on lead we stopped for a chat and found it hard to get going again!
We encountered one van, who was very patient with us as we wobbled through the narrow gap between van and hedge and a man on a push bike with 2 bags of shopping flapping from his handlebars - Shopping = carrots, so not really a problem!!
What amazed me more than anything, is that we longlined down a track and across a stream without any hesitations
Looking back, I may have set myself a challenge there, but it worked tons better than I had ever dreamed, in fact it was, perfect. Penny the Perfect Pony shall be her new nickname, until her halo falls off, which no doubt it will at some point (probably me falling off her TBH!!)
Obviously I can't take pictures of her perfectness while in work mode, but have a Penny photo anyway!
