Ok may not be a big deal for some people but after the serious lack of brakes, hence we now ride in a double bridle rather than the snaffle, we seem to have turned the corner
Had a really good lesson on Friday night so thought I'd just hack this weekend.
Went with sis and friend last night down the old railway line and on the grass did some trot work. Also sis and friend cantered in front and Pidge trotted behind. He was ace, a little keen but when I said no we're just trotting he settled and was fine
Did canter on bit of soft ground just for about 15 strides and it felt really good.
this morning went the other way down the railway line and while sis and friend did lots of trot work we just walked behind them nice and calm, but on the buckle end of the rein
As long as Pidge could see them he was fine
Pointless post really but am just really chuffed at how chilled out he was and the brakes seem to be coming back too
