Had to have the vet out to my daughters pony last night, thought at first possible colic, so vet comes 9.30 last night, pony not happy, straining to pass droppings, very high temperature, not feeding, anyway he took bloods, ruled out colic, and did an internal, hes worried as found swelling so waiting on him to come back this morning first thing, and may have to be sent to liphook, so any suggestions or healing vibes would be much appreciated.

Thank you for all your good wishes, well we had to take her to hospital this morning, even though she was brighter and wanting to eat when vet came out and did another internal the swelling had gone down quite alot but he did find a tear and was still concerned about her straining to go to the toilet so badly, so off she went and tonight had a lovely call from vet saying shes doing very well, bloods all came back ok apart from showing infection and they did a test to check infection not spreading round her body and that was negative so shes now passing toilet normally and not straining so much, and shes been having strong antibiotics into vein so its good news and so hopefully she wont be in hospital for too long.

I've sent a reply to your daughter on the other forum I go on, but just to reiterate to you, I wish you all the best, she has been getting on so well with her, I hope they will out and about together again soon.
