Ok so i had a lesson today with my instructor
and thank god i did, i had got to the point with wilma where i hated schooling her and couldnt do anything with her
she started by getting her to bend on each rein etc and accept that this is where i want you to be and nowhere else
got me really riding her forwards and once we had established suppleness on each rein and being able to flex outwards too we stretched out
then she got us to make halt transitions and wait until she gave in, and then i had her, the trot was amazing, powerful and soft in the hand
then the canter- wasnt through enough to start with so had to push her forwards
when i did push her forwards OMG what a feeling of power from behind but softness in front. i was completely incontrol of all of this power, it was great
she was fab and i am so glad i had a lesson, boots were lovely too
instructor was very complimentary and said if i wanted help when working in next week i can have it, she also said i can come with her to training with her horse
