My mates horse had bad mud fever and scabby legs, she got some of pig oil mix, stuck it in old washing up bottle and put on his legs... Brill... All cleared up in a month, mud no longer sticks to his legs, going to try on my big boy now, amazing stuff. Best of all he has clean white legs even in this weather and mud... Pointless I know but I am amazed.

Yup, the stuff is brilliant - since I've been using it, i've only ever washed Shy's legs for a show, the mud drops off overnight in the stable, and his feathers (mane and tail) just don't stop growing, and fast. :D

i get mine from Sussex Cobs, ebay, and buy loads of it to save postage.

Yeap my horses are in a really wet, muddy field and youngster was getting mud fever in summer when there was hardly any mud. Started using pig oil and sulphur and not 1 horse has got the slightest sign of mud fever, 2 are out 24/7 and 2 are stabled at night.
As others have said do a patch test first but if ok then it's great stuff.

Same as Skipadeedooda, marvellous stuff. TheresaF on here will send you a great e mail about how to use it if you PM her, I found that invaluable when I first started using it.
