amazing ride toady

off we went just me and the horse, only the 5th time i have ridden her, she has been back and ridden 2 or 3 times a week for about 3 months, were out for an hr and half went over the A12 and under it on a footpath, rounds the fields and tracks, along the roads, over a little concrete bridge and through the ford. she had a backward moment at the little bridge but its only the second time she has been over it.

What a good girly! My friend and I had a lovely hack in our local woods we decided to try and find some new routes and although we weren't hugely successful we did find a lovely canter track and it was nice to mooch about in the sun

its great on a day like today and been so long since i have ridden a horse i actually own.

cant wait until cantering becomes a pleasant experience she is still so unbalance in canter, woods sound great must find some

We are very lucky with our woods and there are still lots of tracks we have yet to explore (I've been at yard nearly 3 years!). I am very lucky that my friend's horse and mine are really good together occasionally bordering on lazy as I can be a bit nervous cantering.
