she was conscious but could only make like whining sounds not actually say words.

ambulance came very quick they managed finally to get neck brace on and back on , she had her hat on but no body protector.

the most pain she pointed to was right leg at top .

Will let you know i put pony to bed un tacked her and we bought her car into the yard for safety .

she hasnt had pony long only just bought new saddle 2 days ago her last pony was too small 13.3 Summer is 14,2. only 3 and a 1/2 .

her dad is still at work , i sat with her trying to comfort her and put duvet on her we dont know how long she was lying there. We saw her go to school and we went dee pooed field. then we hayed my mare and went in.

Its only when hubby said i will go lock up that he saw her car still there. summer the pony whinned once , but as he turned to walked away she screamed lowed and a warning sound which made hubby turn and go back that's when he saw her. i by that time had heard one of my horses answer summer and that's when hubby said amee in school. where it gets confusing is we have a livery pony called * AMY* and livery *AMEE* who owns summer, i thought he ment pony had got out. so i got duvet , sat with her then directed ambulance in but even when they here she couldn't talk only whine and point

What a shock for you all , hope amee is ok , good thing the pony called back your OH , time is always critical with any accident and she could have been lying there alot longer if he hadn't gone out to check!

the scary thing was if she had parked her car in the first bay my hubby would not have seen her car there and she would have been lying there all night .

Her mum says she will ring us tomorrow with an update .:(

It only comes just a bit longer than a month when a girl got bucked of her horse at yard next door and we we riding and we heard the blues and twos and trotted down road as we didnt want it to zoom past but turned in our drive and went into yard next door . this girl had air ambulance and i have heard she broke her back . is now in a back brace and can move about a bit .

Poor girl :( sending good vibes, she is in the best place now. Good job her pony shouted to your hubby to alert him.

If shes able to indicate where shes sore, shes processing which is good.
Shes possibly going to have a ripper of a concussion though if shes been ko'd
My son ko'd himself and had memory loss with a delay of 10 minutes, scary at the time, he still has no full memory of the incident just snatches, his delay of memory subsided within 12 hours but it was horrible and very worrying at the time

send her best and healing wishes from all at HHO, brings it home doesn't it, my friends fantastic rider daughter fell with hat and back protector on 2 weeks ago and damaged her spleen... 9 yrs old. We need to remind ourselves what a dangerous sport this is every time we go to get on their backs.

Oh gosh this is one of my biggest fears as im often riding late on my own, ad fear a fall where noone would find me until the next morning.- shes so lucky your OH was up and checking on everything!

Fingers crossed for amee, and sending her wishes for a swift recovery... What a clever little pony though to whiney to make your OH go back, extra carrrots for summer methinks!

Thankyou all for the healing vibes. :) The pony is out in the field as usual this morning.

I just received a phone call from mum they did all the tests nothing broken , they are discharging her this morning ( mum just left to collect her) we dont know what really happened all we got is summer playing up and she jumped off.
How she ended up on the floor screwed up in a ball not being able to talk and sore leg and gash on her hip . I will know more later if mum pops down.

Once again thankyou all :)

That's good news poor love and poor you and OH! This is why I always text my OH or YM is she's closer just as I get on and when I get off if I am riding and alone on the yard
