Hi - I am looking to put up a small barn and am currently considering National, JWS and Chart as potential suppliers. Anyone got any feedback on any of them or perhaps a tried and tested alternative?

We had an Elite one started last week by JWS and it will be finished by tomorrow. I cannot recommend them highly enough- the quality of the materials is superb and Matthew's building team are friendly and efficient :) I would also recommend their groundwork - J&J Contracting.

Last Tuesday, first day of build and OH bringing out the tea!:

When i find my camera lead i can put up photos from day 3..

Tomorrow they are finishing the roof as last week, the weather forced a halt to proceedings when we had a violent thunder storm complete with lightning and giant hailstones..

Thanks for the pics - its the Ideal I am looking at but with the internal steel framed stables in the elite hardwood. Unfortunatley we are too far away for their recommended groundwork team so we will have to find our own contractors to do the work.
Glad to hear it has all gone so well for you - its so difficult to choose between the various suppliers :) Hope your horses appreciate it!

We're very happy with our Saltire stables mini barn (4 stables central gangway and tackroom). We had various upgrades like portal frame in case we ever moved and the new peeps werent horsey you can take out all the stables and leave the barn, plus windows in the external top doors.
Saltire are southern scotland.

Hi - many thanks for the input. Have contacted Saltire and await their brochure and quote. To be honest they did not come up on the radar when I was searching for a supplier - possibly because they call them Canadian Barns!
