My sister tragically lost her horse last week, i wont go into detail.

She isn in to western riding.

Trains at The Mendip stud

So she is looking for another.

She is open to young or old.
Ready to go or training needed.
Part breds are an option.

Can you suggest any?

Here is what we have seen.
1
perfect horse, mum of the horse she lost, but maybe slightly over budget, although i know owner has already drops a huge amount so she would be getting a bargain.

There may be some hidden gems out there so go ahead, spill!

What sort of age is she looking for ideally?

We have a foal due in the next few days by my bay overo paint (no tb all QH) out of a stock bred paint grey mare (also full QH blood). RH Mr Imprint, Lunar Lucre, King, Zero Depth Charge and Skips R Dandy are some of the names on the foal's pedigree.

If she is after an older horse I know of someone selling a lot of their breeding stock and she has some lovely horses, QH, paints and appaloosas, some older, a couple that are green broke.

I'm partial to an Appaloosa myself! :)

Would definitely go for the tobiano mare, she is the horse with the best conformation, especially for western, and it looks as if she has been beautifully trained. It is so perfect that she is the dam of the horse she lost, and I think that if she did not go for her she would regret it - it is so unlikely she will come up for sale again. Also, you could breed from her!! :p
