At a demo yesterday, I was looking at the Amerigo dressage saddles and have to say that I quite liked the look of them

What I like about the Amerigos (from what I have read in the borchure

) is that they seem to come in several different types which are designed to suit all different shapes of horse (high withers, flat backs etc etc).

So, what are your thoughts on them in comparison to Albions, Wows and the Jaguar saddles???

I tried one that my friend (VERY kindly) leant me and it was lovely. very expensive tho and would have cost almost twice what the horse cost me but it was lovely. The one I borrowed had huge knee blocks and a lovely deep seat and it was just gorgous. But that is because i love big knee blocks and deep seats

I also tried a jaguar and it didn't fit so that was excluded straight away and a KN which I hated but lots of people rate them so I guess it was just me

I've just brought one - I LOVE it hugely. Much much much better than my Albions - from what I've heard (but no personnal experience) Jag's are a no go. I've no experience of WOW.

I've got the Pinnerol - I wanted the close contact but really pleased with what I've got. My Horse is incredibly difficult to fit but the Amerigo really suited her with minimal adjustment. From what I understand they are easy to adjust so if your horses changes slightly its not a huge problem

I must sauy though i have just bought an ideal and the support is very similar

I have never ridden in a dressage Amerigo, but absolutely adore my Amerigo event saddle!!

I would choose Amerigo over lots of different saddles, think they are fantastic.

I have the Amerigo Pinerolo Dressage saddle and love it. I used to have a Jaguar on my old horse. I loved that too (sadly it didn't fit the new horse) but quite a different feel.

I have one it is a lovely saddle. My horse visably changed his length of stride when I got it. So much so that when I got a bonus at work I ended up replacing my jumping saddle too for an amerigo.

That was 5 years ago, and I now have loaned out my horse who the saddle fitted ( with a wintec that also fitted him ) and have had the saddles tree adjusted for my younger up and coming horse. They are expensive but you can change the tree if you change your horse, cost £200 to change but cheaper than a new saddle.
