Amerigo saddles - sizing?

Have found an amerigo saddle i like and the width is described as a 2+2 1/2.

What 'normal' width would that be? A wide? I understand that a 2 is going to be a medium, so a medium plus 2 1/2 would be 2.5 sizes bigger?!

The 2 and a half is inchs so its a extra two and half inches. But I think a 2 is wider than a medium tbh.

So what size would said saddle be in 'normal' talk? Ive tried googling it and it doesnt come up with anything!

Horse is currently in an XW barnsby GP however have recently had a saddle fitter out (or two) to fit a WOW and Sue Carson and in both makes she was varying between a MW and a W (barnsby was fitted when she was carrying a little extra weight i guess, although the saddler at the time i remember commented on her being skinny?!)
