AMERSHAM HORSES WILL BE ON ITV NEWS AT 6 PM

I am really glad it is getting this publicity. They showed shetlands that would have to be returned. One was heavily pregnant, the other had a 4 week old foal. It is heartbreaking.
 
It only shows to people in the UK, so couldn't view it. I imagine they looked lovely though.
 
What the hell is wrong with this country when they are giving back some of the horses/ponys. Did I hear right. The money raised from them going onto the open market will go to THE GREY FAMILY???
 
i watched the footage of some of them being rescued....did anyone else think that chestnut that they were leading looked in good condition??(the pony im speaking of was about a minute into the footage) The coloureds looked boney though..... i really dont know what to think on this case..i have seen some pretty shocking footage of horses in past being sent for meat ...none of these compare....my heart goes out to all these cases which is why i donate to different charities..unfortunatly this happens alot around the world but i think its hard knowing where to draw the line as to who needs the help more??You cant help every animal but i think more people should be protesting to make the laws and authorities better...i believe enough people CAN make a difference ......but as long as humans are at the top of the food chain this will always happen...

If the chestnut was the one from The Horse Trust (without re watching the clip), it was one of two horses which were seperated from the rest of the group as they had confirmed strangles (and ringworm). It was in better condition than the colts. Clips of some of the horses were from ILPH or Redwings who took the ones who were in better condition.
 
I'm ashamed to say that I'm really behind on what has been going on but I've just watched the video clip posted and I just think the decision is digusting. How on earth can the judge say he doesn't think the Gray family pose any danger to the animals. Is the judge not aware of why they had to be rescued in the first place.

Makes you realise why there are so many murderers on our streets.
