If the Amersham horses are sent to mart would it not be possible for the public as a whole to buy back the animals on behalf of the charities.The charities have said that they would care for these animals. As before members of the public donated money, could we all do this again. There would have to be another campaign to do this.Like the baby donkey campaign. Yes there will be kind hearted people who would go to the sale and rescue one or two but there will be some which don't. I can't believe the British justice system at the moment. This judge has given a precedent for any one to neglect and be cruel to animals and get away with it. Why bother then giving the RSPCA additional powers if they can't use them. Hypocrisy. Would people think about this idea and look at a campaign fund which could be collected by the charities to buy back the horses. Only downer on this is that Mr Grey will get the profits, but the horses will be safe until he gets his next batch!
