Hi all ,
Has anyone bought the new navy check amigo Aussie and if they could tell their review on the quality of this one in compared to the original green or burgundy check ?
My friend said to me she didn’t think the new version was as good as the original and have been searching high and low for a green or burgundy check in 6’9

I've recently bought the new navy check, so far so good. But we are only on day 4.
Can't say I can tell much of a difference from the green check one I have..feel a similar weight etc.
The biggest difference is the front fastening. The new one has a plastic shape on the front that you then velcro through. I wondered if it may be a little uncomfortable but horse doesn't seem to care.

I've got the old version, I didn't realise there was a new version!! Mine have a plastic disc on the front which you velcro through. I really like that design.

I''ve got green, burgundy and blue. I think possibly the blue may be lighter material than the blue. I found the burgundy one a bit heavier than the green.
I had to replace some green with blue last year and couldn't find green ones for love nor money.

I don't like the plastic disc because I fasten so many rugs that I can do the older style clips in my sleep and they are quicker but I have to think to thread the fasteners through the disc. However they do seem to stay in place
