Hi I debated buying one of these last year but was concerned she would be too warm. Ive read a few reviews saying they really do keep your horse cool so just wondered how the sizing came up please?

I bought one and it did keep him cooler than the other fly sheets BUT with the crazy temps we had last summer he did still sweat under it at times. Crazy because when I worked in the northern territory temps were 32-42 deg C and they didnt sweat under their rugs.

I found the sizing came up pretty much spot on.
 
Just started using one for Henry - I think the sizing is pretty accurate. Fits the same as the Amigo turnouts, if you have any of them.
 
I have the older style ones and really like them. They keep them cooler than most other summer type rugs I've had and fit well, same as amigo rugs. I am however really disappointed they have now put the velcro and plastic front fastening on the new ones. I won't buy their rugs with those fastenings as firstly they fit higher and tighter round the neck and more importantly I don't like the idea of a bit of plastic and velcro holding a rug on at the most pulled place of the rug. It's not safe enough for me. I brought one by accident and got rid of it.
 
I love mine. It definitely keeps them cooler than normal fly rugs etc. I only use mine in really hot, bright sun when theres a risk of clipped ponies burning, or when its hot and pouring down.

I really dont like the disc closure either! I bought a LW and didnt realise it would be the disc front and 2 of the velcros came open the 2nd time I used it. I never used it again. A friend has one too, has had no issues and really likes it. Not for me though.
Ive seen the older version still for sale, I think its the white with green binding, just not sure whether to get 6'3 or 6'6. She fits 6'3 snugly but the 6' 6 will prob be a bit long. Decisions decisions lol
 
I wouldn't buy the plastic velcro disc thing either, but I bought a new one last week and it came with the normal surcingle fastenings. Maybe it's pot luck what you get.
