Do people find the Amigo Aussie Alrounder fly rugs make their horse too hot or do you find they stay quite cool in them?
Thank you so much!!

I didn't have the Aussie but I had the Rambo one which is the same idea. My horse stayed lovely and cool in it, and didn't get sunburn which was my main motivation.

Mine wears one all the time in the summer - he never sweats in it , even in the heat we had last year. They are the only rug that stops horse flies from getting him, very important as he comes out in huge weeping welts that need the vet if they manage to bite him - poor boy!

Swear by this rug. I have it on a native type who does have quite a coat. Never does she come in sweaty, even though the rug is quite thick compared to meshy fly rugs.

Have recently bought the amigo camofly and I’m impressed with that too

love my aussie rug. jay is always cool in it - it protects him far better from the horse flies than his rambo fly rug, which was twice the price. also slightly shower proof as long as you don't over wash - can be reproofed though. jay is so much happier in it. he has a full face mask (otherwise he does a nodding dog impression) and premier equine air boots. he is not out all day at the moment as too hot but was very happy up until last week out all day. the aussie rug give great protection from flies and i have never had him come in sweating
