Amigo rugs- fitting

I had a problem with these which was wierd as the fly rug in both his right size and one size up wouldnt fasten at all around his neck but the lw turnout in his usual size fit ok. He is a mw and his other Rambo/rhino fit fine. I'd be tempted to go a size up if your horse is any breed other than a lw tb.
Its awful isnt it ordering online as it costs more to send the damn things back if they dont fit.
 
We always go up a size at work with TO Amigos as they are small and the horses end up with rugs half way across their backs. I also did this with my Amigo Fly rugs which look huge on but only just do up on the neck pieces and slip terribly.

Another vote for going up a size with Amigos.
Excellent rugs but they do come up on the tight side on my welsh d x tb.
He takes a 6ft normally but I've had to get his Amigo summer t/out in the 6ft 3" as the 6 was too tight.
 
I've just bought one of these and nearly went for a size up as I'd heard they were tight around the chest, but was pleasantly surprised to find that they fit my horse perfectly. She is a chunky Welsh Cob with big shoulders and it fits like a glove, one of the best fitting rugs she's ever had. As you can see in my siggy it also fits over her rather rotund behind without riding up like many other rugs do!
 
i brought these for some of my guys in ranging shapes, all of them fitted perfectly on a normal size... in fact, they're the only rus that actually fit my NF! he has no shoulders at all and most rugs slip back and rub badly, but amigos fit like a glove!
 
i have a IDxTB with BIG shoulders- the medium weight amigo fitted her fine but the light weight was tight across her chest and pulled on her whithers!
