Ive seen an amigo summer turnout for a good price on the internet, but its only a 6ft
my lad is usually a 6'3 but sometimes they do come up long on him... do you think a 6ft would fit him or are amigo's not very generous with their sizes?

how wide are there rugs?
hes a very narrow TB and alot of rugs gape at the shoulder on him

what are your opinions on their rugs?

thanks

I used one for 3 years and it was excellent, stood up to all the usual horsey field malarkey, actually was rainproof, never slipped and didn't make him hot either.
I would thoroughly recommend them.

I did find that the neck comes up quite narrow, but as you have a TB it would probably be OK, it was the only rug I ever had that actually fitted my arab properly. Lengthwise, hmm, a 6' one was a little bit too long for a short coupled 14.2, it may come up a bit short for your boy. Try it on over a summer sheet first so that you can return it if you have to perhaps?

My horse is normally 6ft3 (mark todd & Masta); but I brought an amigo 6ft which fits him perfecly; they are a very deep rug, fits my horse quite nicely - he is conne with a little tb (in my sig!)

Sorry for bad punc etc - Im rushing

They come up very true to size I find! So would only go for correct size. My boy is a large 6'3, and has a 6'3 amigo which fits, but he could do with a 6'6 really.....

Chancer has a 6' - they are very deep rugs and his fits well - he is a gypsy cob but not that filled out yet as only 2 3/4s.

If yours needs the 6'3 for length then the 6' may be a little too short but it is a generous rug in terms of width so if it is 6'3 for the width element then you might be ok with the 6'.

My very narrow, short coupled TB fits a 6ft perfectly, his 6ft WB swamps him, he measures up as 6ft though with a tape.
He's worn it all through the winter and it is in great shape (he is a rug trasher!), I'd thoroughly recommend them.
