I think QB needs to step away from the forum until she is in a better mood and normal service is resumed.
So four next month means he is three?
So four next month means he is three?
Nope. You quoted me and said I wouldn't 'give a care' if the horse died. Nice. So not a general comment or are you now saying that all posters on that thread wouldn't care if the horse died!?!
So four next month means he is three?
Omg... Now I remember why I couldn't be arsed with this forum for such a long time... No one can give a straight answer, and those that give an opinion generally do it to bitch and not be constructive or informative.
Don't let the door catch you on the ass on your way out...
Well he's a lot nearer to four than three
Or he's four TBs are aged from first Jan and non tbs from the forst of April .
Or he's three years eleven months and xxx days
But it's all splitting hairs .
Although I do reduce work for horses who where born late in the season.
But Queenbee I have to agree you are abit scary Mary ATM.
Are you ok?
also you know there are a lot of different opinions on what people think youngsters should be doing.... so even if people did just say yes and no you probably wouldn't be any clearer on whether it was or not![]()
Well just take a chill pill , it's really not getting riled about something like this the question you asked does not really have a black and white answer.
The forum is supposed to be fun and informative if your not enjoying don't .
However I hope you enjoy the show when it comes and I for one would enjoy hearing how it goes.

Yep, as I said, I suppose the other thread riled me a bit, I just thought that regardless of everything the horse needed help and running the owner down for riding when it had already been pointed out was not productive, but that's probably more down to my experiences than anything. With this though, I just wish I as someone who knows my horse and is not a compete incompetent could ask a straight question and get and answer... It's really starting to put me off this forum and that's what is ticking me off I suppose.![]()

QB horses don't really lend themselves to straight answers in most situations.
Ok, QB you should deffo revisit that thread where you quoted me and made your commentI'm out. You do my head in!
QB you're not usually like this- are you ok?

QB, you're projecting your own situation onto that thread and getting emotionally involved - but the flaw is that your situation was completely different. Your girl was ill, you did everything you could for her and sadly it didn't turn out the way anyone hoped. The horse in that thread was neglected - pure and simple, not fed sufficiently, exercised heavily despite her condition. You made comments about sudden weight loss and illness, which were just not relevant (the OP couldn't even know if the weight loss was sudden as, by her own comments, she hadn't seen her for ages due to birth etc). Owners have a responsibility for their animal's welfare, and if they allow situations like this to arise, they need to be held to account for it - especially if they do not seem to be taking advice / evading certain important questions / oblivious to the issues. There was tonnes of good advice on that thread too, so hardly a disproportionate response to the situation.
How close is it to the anniversary? Is it that which is clouding your judgement? Anybody can understand that, these times are always hard.
With this thread, you asked a straight question and got a straight answer - it just wasn't the answer you were expecting, that is, that one of the premises of your question was flawed (in the opinion of a number of posters). To paraphrase:
"Is pessoa-lunging and hacking in the same day too much work for a rising 4 y/old?"
"Yes, pessoa-lunging is too much "hard" work for that age, the hacking is fine though".
That is a straight answer, whether you like it or not![]()
How's the air up there QB?
Not the answer to the question I was asking... I asked is the hacking too much... But hey, you want to be deliberately obtuse which I never thought was your style... Go for it.
It's not a case of whether I like it or not, sadly many people decided to willfully misinterpret my question for their own ends. JFTD, if you had to give a straight forward answer to my exact question what would it be? Or is that beyond you, I really never had you down for that. Normally you are able to be rational on these things. I'm not asking for people's opinions on pessoas or lunging, but I don't even hold it against someone for voicing such opinions, even in a thread where they are not solicited, but only when people have the courtesy to address the question in hand as well... Is that such a problematic request?
Don't you think that's enough now !!
