I've put up a poll on what ban, if any, we consider should be given to Amy Tryon for her (mis) riding of Le Samurai at Rolex, for which she is currently waiting to hear on FEI tribunal/hearing dates/details.

I intend to forward the result of this poll to the FEI in the same way that immediately following the event a number of protest letters organised by the forum were sent to the FEI.

The poll is 'closed' in that you cannot see the results until 10th June as it is unlikely that the FEI will convene or decide until after that date.

Please vote if you have seen the video or have been involved in the discussions

Non controversial? With that signature!

That is not a controversial sig - just good common sense (ps can you add a line about CB's being the BEST British horse to buy?

The only thing that concerns me about your poll, particularly if you intend to post it to the FEI, is that many voters will be in the slightly hysterical 'boil her head' variety. And while we might think that being prevented for ever owning or riding a horse ever again might be too good for her, a majority of extreme views will not be taken seriously.

Not that I want to down play what she did, the cost to her horse with its life, or any of the circumstances..although in fact I could have swallowed a good deal of that if she had simply said after the event that she had made a horrible mistake and apologised profusely. I simply think that if you want to be taken seriously, then your approach should be carefully measured

my very first horse was 3/4TB and 1/4 Cleveland - and my yard is half named after him and my foundation broodmare

(he was an old b*gger though - but then I was young and brave then and could ride 'em on 10 lbs of oats a day !!)

I've tried feeding Donkey buckets of oats - still prefers to stand and watch the world go by - we are now up to Racehorse mix

try ride and lead with a gassy PPCup pony on the end of the line - the competition factor coudl work - it was certainly entertaining with my two together

mine run along the lines of the old Spanish Inquisition - auto da fe - or hanging drawing and quartering

rack,

pulling out fingernails

or as I originally suggested - merely cut a couple of ligaments in one of her knees and then make her run the New York marathon from start to finish, no matter how long it takes her and add a few jumps to negotiate along the way
