No not hurt, unfortunately, her fat ass bounced pretty well...

I don't normally like to comment on things like this. However. Considering the amount of training etc that has been put into the riders and how fit and well all the others looked, I have to say that AT stuck out like a sore thumb.
I don't get why everyone gets so personal on this debate - yes she did something very wrong, but to honestly wish that 'she's very hurt' is completely uncalled for imo. You may not like her, but surely it is a bit out of order to wish bad things to her on an open forum?
I would prefer it if she fell in the water, or a huge patch of mud maybe, but not to hurt herself. Its funny to watch people fall off sometimes, I admit it, but only if they bounce - again, pref in some mud or water
I think the tragedies that happen more often than we'd like should be enough for us to not wish ill on anyone competing xc, or anywhere for that matter.
But lets face it due to the laws of physics AT is more likely to bounce than most of the riders on that course.
I agree no one should wish anyone harm but I defy anyone who saw what she did to that poor horse not to have had a smile. I just hope theres a horse heaven and they've got a TV...
Got to say - some of the stuff that has been written about her today is a bit harsh. Come on, imagine commenting on someones weight! Im sure some of the event riders on here arent bean poles.
Got to say noone knows what happened that day on the XC and i dont get why everyone seems to dislike her. She did lose a horse guys - a lot of us have been through that.
I dont think you should wish her so much ill. I hate to think what you would do to me if I got videod I dont have Amy's Bouncing issues but to be honest I have ridden crap in the past and a friend gave me photos that made me cry I actually burnt one in an ash tray!!
Can i just point out, that at no point have i said i wished she had been hurt, Just think perhaps Karma has played a part in this, after kicking her horse on through a horrific injury, she fell at the most important event of her life!

But I'm not sure that any of our event riders here are competing this week at the Olympics are they??
It was very interesting to hear Ian Starke's comment on one of the American ladies during her dressage - and how much weight she had lost in order to ensure her fitness for the competition.......
You got to be fit to compete. Overweight ain't fit!
I really do not agree with you on that. What about the Brazilian guy? Like come on this is ridiculous. You may all "dislike" her but comment on her riding, not personal stuff. I can remember a post awile ago about "larger ladies" who ride horses, there was an outcry about that.
Oh and i also do seriously doubt she would be at the olympics if she wasnt fit and had worked her socks off.
havent seen it yet but can't wait to get home tonight to watch it- skyplussed it and will enjoy with a large glass of wine. looking forward to watching her bounce

Sorry, don't agree with what? And what about which Brazilian guy??
wow, what a difference! Have to say and it could just be me but the GB team look pretty lean at the mo too. Not that anyone of them were big anyway but they all look smaller!
Is that definitly Becky Holder in the 2nd photo - if so that is amazing and well done her.
Also agree with your other comments but need to add that Kristina Gifford and Mary King rode superbly & made up for WFP rush of blood at the last two fences.
Having watched the highlights I thought AT looked to have slimmed down a bit actually? Besides, I don't really see what her waistline has to do with the price of cheese- presumably she earned a place on the US team on merit and if she was unfit she wouldn't be able to get round a course.
It was absolutely terrible what happened to Le Samurai but when will everyone move on? The mere mention of her name on here seems to whip people up into a frenzy! Those who posted wishing her physical injury should be ashamed of themselves.
