Wowee! Massive congrats what an incredible way to kick off your season, clever squirrel I think my mum has chatted to your mum before as I remember her saying she met someone with a horse with one eye and it sounds like you compete in a similar area

Great report and great result - huge congrats. I always wonder how horses with one eye cope with distance and depth perception, but he obviously has no issues with it whatsoever!
