I've been as usual passing some of my free time looking for a suitable pony for my son but in my travels as you do I've come across a filly that I just keep going back to... probably sold by now and forgive if this is advertising but its a 2 yr old palomino filly on the horsedeals website. Just something about her that shouts 'BUY ME, BUY ME, BUY MEEEEEE!! :D

Now the problem is I'm not meant to be looking for me and certainly not suitable for my son to ride until he's well into his 20's (over protective mum:D) but she is a stunner... now I'm thinking spring it on hubby as an early birthday/christmas present or something of that ilk  ?? He'll so see through me :D

Any suggestions anyone?? What have you used to justify buying that horse that just shouted BUY ME at you :D

Haha do you have any 'lonely' horses that need 'keeping company'? If I were to come across a real bargain during the winter I might do the same... My BF would be so unimpressed if I bought him a horse for Christmas but I like the idea! How tall is this palomino beauty?

All the following I have known women to use:
1. super duper Sunday lunch, pud and custard afterwards, then some afternoon delight
2. sit down, do all the calculations, prepare your case and present to OH
3. tears
4. the withdrawal of all er relationship privileges
5. buy the pony and say you're looking after it for a friend
6. drag OH to look at it
7. if all else fails, just say to OH what you've said on the Forum!

Good luck!!!

I bought a 2 year old this year never had such a youngster before he's in the field next to my hunting cob he actually found me he's a sweetheart I am having so much fun just from the ground with him in a good routine just feeding now (balancer) and picking feet out leading etc but he is in with another youngster and back with his mum so he gets grounded by her and can play fight with the other one ! he cost me £500 and was gelded which was a bargain as he is a very nice stamp of a horse and is very handsome so I would say go for it I would do it again.

ad says to make 15hh + but no current height. I have left hints by saving the ad to the bookmarks and not deleted my share of the net history, he always looks through those for his pages, maybe if he see's how many times I've looked at it he'll get the hint :D

Son does have long legs so one to grow into... but such a girlie horse
