An honest 'how much' please

yep!!!!

there were a few at both sales i went to over the weekend..

a really nice grey 5yr old mare was sold with tack, was ridden around by a 6 yr old child..which probably should have been at school!!..was sold in the ring for £590gns...so just over 600 quid!!

lovely pony...

sorry to hijack the post Madhector but JM07 which sales did you go to? as privately ponies seem to be stupid money I seriously underpriced their last pony when I sold him at christmas, but you live and learn I am looking for something small and bomproof for a 4 year old.

But the bottom one is only lightly backed, completly different from a pony that is happy off the leadrein with a 5 yr old child! Spooks will hack out off the leadrein and jump a course of fences and then stand around all day if nessesary. I think I will stick to my guns, and see what happens, fingers crossed

Well good luck to you MH. A very sweet pony ( 12hh) I know, that has only done local shows, MGA and brought on by a 15-yr old... is up for £ 5000 !!!! and they have loads of enquiries ... and now looks like they have a solid buyer... so you never know!

I forgot to say my personal price would be £1500 - £2000.
A kind horse/pony goes along way, my reg welsh A is worth his weight in gold. I was offered 2k for him last year, he doesn't like jumping but he will do it.
Its purely because he's so good with children and he's very pretty!
