Hey everyone, I just came across this site while searching google, www.coltsandmares.com , in my search for a more extensive repertoire of horse knowledge. It contains many articles regarding many aspects of the equine species. Read the articles and enjoy their content, I felt they were fairly complete articles. The site is mainly of interest because of the articles, but it has a forum that seems to be starting off quite nicely as well.

Happy Info gathering,
Scott

it's a pity the info on this site was gleaned from another....
easily found because of the spelling mistakes.....

example from above site:

Choosing the Proper Hay

To have a strong and healthy horse it is important for you to feed them properly. Feeding them quality hay will give them the important nutrients and minerals they need. The amount of proteins needed by a horse are dependent on their metabolism, age, and rate of work. An adult horse will eat about 2% of its body weight every day, and experts recommend that half of the food eaten daily should be hay.

If your horse ways a thousand pounds, etc etc....

funny! exact same article including the typo on another site (just google that last line!)

oh and another article swiped from elsewhere..... (vitamins )

why? Why can't people write their own flamin stuff? plagiarism is what it is......

Bit too busy for my liking, don't like forums when they get huge like that.

and also, the OP suggested another site may have copied from colts n mares... however, I notice the horse riding article, the gaits, is word for word from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horse_gait
I do wish people would write their own stuff, whats the point in having the same old written work on hundreds of sites? I much prefer to be unique!
