OK, well, tracking did not go exactly to plan this weekend but anyhoo, less said about that the better, except that at least we provided the comedy element :p
But we know what we have to work on and we'll try again! And out of seven dogs tracking, only one passed, so it wasn't just me (Two showlines, four workingline failed)
My lovely pristine performance record now has a big '0' on it, but hey, it was my fault, not the dog's :p

So anyhoo....

First time in a trailer, he travelled beautifully

A future star in the making and what great socialisation, people, kids, other dogs, cars, loud noises...nothing phases him, look forward to seeing him progress :)

So, following some of the comments made after Crufts last week, not that certain people will comment because you never do when I post these piccy threads, but I am sure you will re-appear when you want to criticise and deny the existence of the multi-purpose GSD - here it is in full technicolour :)

Showline dog.

Workingline dog, VERY strong in all three phases, has competed at world level...seen here with children, oh, and has V (excellent) ratings from German judges for construction (in the showring!) both here and on the continent.

You've got it all wrong CC, show lines are all cripples, and working lines eat children! :p
Great pics of B tracking, sorry it all went pear shaped this time, but dogs have to put us in our places you know.:D

I'd have been happier had he not started going through stranger's pockets behind the start point when he should have been 40m in the opposite direction with his nose on the ground, but HEY! I gave everyone a good laugh :p

Now that is exactly my kind of dog. Scrumptious! I'll take two. :p

"If I can't see her, she can't see me and come and beat m... I mean, provide me with gentle correction for my misdemenours." :p :D

I wish, he actually belongs to the judge, that was a litter that was booked out before the mating even took place!

I have my eye out for something at the moment but I'm not going to rush into anything :)

No one can doubt your passion for this breed and is to be commended, alas the people who criticise only read the bad press and will not accept the breed has come a long way.

The pics are lovely and your black puppy is gorgeous and as for your oopsie there is always another day.

Well we (everyone who failed, from beginners to very experienced triallers) blamed the tsunami, we blamed the supermoon, we blamed dead people, but then my friend scored 90 points, so we all had to STFU!!!!!

Beautiful pics! :) it just proves that this conception of show dogs OR working dogs that people discuss over and over again from uni lectures to breed shows is completely wrong. Great to see dogs that can do everything - even if there is an oopsie every now and then! :p

FFS! Stop launching deformed puppies over A-Frames just to try to prove your point :mad:

:p

Nice pics. At least you weren't the only one there suffering moon-related oopsies :)
