You have made one of the bravest and toughest decisions you would probably ever have to make for your friend... but you have made the right decision, don't let the guilt eat away at you, remember all of the wonderful times you have shared together, all the hugs, rides and fun you have both shared with the special bond you have had with him...

All I can say is poor poor you and poor Roscoe, what a horrible accident and decision to have to make. You certainly have made the bravest and kindest choice. x
 
Omg just seen this now, i am so sorry :( Sounds like the same as my boys wound apart from my lads was fractured aswell, I feel for you hun :( Its heart breaking, hope your holding up ok ...((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))
 
God, I am really sorry to read this, you must be in such shock. I have no idea how you must feet but I think, from the sounds of it you are making the right decision. I am so sorry.
 
How awful, but well done you for thinking of your horse and putting his needs ahead of your feelings. It hurts like hell, but you know that everything you did, you did it for him. Everything he ever gave you, you paid him back with this terrible sacrifice. And this is true selfless love.
RIP Roscoe and hugs to you.
 
Thoughts are with you in such a tough time. You are going to put yourself through the grief to spare his pain. It's a final gift of love.
