An Update on Jack

Some of you may remember I was given Jack a few weeks ago now! Well time for an update.... I think the pictures speak for themselves really?

And this was taken the other day when he was trying to convince me he was dead! God did I panic!!!

Now for the report..... not been ridden for weeks.... tacked up in his field with another horse loose! other horse was hooning around like an idiot.... and all we had was a little half rear/napping back to the other horse and a buck.... other than that he was perfect!!!!
Bless him he is just so cute!

Glad he settled in well with you. Love the "playing dead" picture. My horse used to do that too. You could run right up to him, yelling his name all the way and he wouldn't lift his head til you were standing right over him! Gave me more than one heart attack I can tell you!

The day he did that, all I could see from the top of the field was this chestnut mound, I ran down the field, walked round him, called him, - nothing!!! then stood watching him and he twitched his ear!!! he got called a bar steward and as soon as I said that, he lifted his head, as if to say gotcha mum!!!

He is such a lovely boy..... so sweet to handle and I've fallen head over heels in love with him..... so now we know he is rideable, I will uphold my promise to his old owner that I will never sell him but find him a suitable loan home where I can keep an eye on him.....

No its not me riding him... its a very good friend..... I was taking the pictures and holding on to said grey that decided it would be great fun to gallop around like a twit! I rode him afterwards, but forgot to give phone to friend to take more pictures..... will have to make a point of taking some next time.

Haha oh yeah, many times I go over and Beau is flat out snoring, he will stay there all day if you stroke him, the first time I saw him I thought he was dead...til he started farting!
