An update on Stella

Some of you may recall that we had a hiccup with Stella and our new baby (she nipped him twice). Well, I'm pleased to say that everything got resolved and Stella is still with us We put up a baby gate, we worked on getting my son to stroke her only gently, and she is on a herbal supplement that takes the edge off any nervy behaviour without making her drowsy and she and my son have become firm friends. Now that he's running all over the place she loves to play games with him and is quite thrilled that he has a good throwing hand.

So there you have it. Thanks to all who posted. Here's a couple of recent snaps of the pups at the beach on a chilly February weekend. In yet more exciting news, we have just bought a weekend house in upstate Connecticut, so expect plenty of photos of Stella and Prince roaming their hilly pastures (all 20 acres of them).

I am so pleased things have settled down, I couldn't really imagine you and Stella being parted. Your little boy is gorgeous,look forward to lots more pictures of him and the dogs at your weekend house.

My husband has a bizarre Australian tendency to wear shorts in the thick of winter. (He's not as bad as my forest ranger brother-in-law, however, who wears shorts AND flip-flops in winter.)
