Anal Gland Tumour

Has anyone got any experience of anal gland carcinoma? Good or bad, just trying to process it all before making that decision..

Hi, sorry I have only just seen your post. You have probably made your decision by now but wanted to tell you about my lurcher who had an anal gland tumour diagnosed when he was seven. He had the gland removed and made a speedy and very good recovery. We enjoyed his company for several more years before he sadly developed a tumour in one of his lungs.

My old male dog had an anal gland carcinoma. Fortunately, it was small enough when we noticed it. He went under operation, and one year later died of heart issues.
