anaphylactic shock help (long)

if it was laryngeal hemiplegia, surely ventipulin wouldnt do diddly squat?! its a paralised vocal cord, not a problem with the lungs. mine got diagnosed a few weeks back ( she doesnt roar when not being exercised)

i feed mine haylage, but i dont think it would make a great deal of difference whether she was fed either. ventipulin is used for actual breathing ie broken wind, breathing supplements wont really touch a paralised vocal cord, the only thing which would do it is tie back surgery.

(sorry of my reply is useless, coming from a small island, google is my friend :) )

the vet gave her ventipulmin as she was heaving quite badly after coming in from the field and we couldnt be sure weather it was completley down to her larynx that was causing this hence why he gave her ventipulmin (but it did nothing just caused her to be very uncomfortable for a few weeks).
when i first got my mare she only ever made a slight noise in quite fast work but unfortunatly has got worse over the years

ahh i see. sorry am still learning about it, never even heard of it until i got the vet for mine.

mine never made a noise, any noise i assumed was due to fitness level, seems i was wrong.

im hoping mine will stay the same and wont get worse with age.
