My saddle fitter recommended the Prolite anatomical girth, but in the meantime I ordered a Shires Arma one as it was next day delivery on Amazon (I was sourcing a Prolite girth second hand due to cost). I was excited to try the Prolite girth when it arrived, but as soon as I mounted my mare told me in no uncertain terms that she did not like it! She's never done this before, or since. I swapped back to the Arma immediately and have stuck with it ever since.

Well a little update now the prolite has arrived and we’ve tried it out etc.
This one is softer than the one the horse came with I’m pleased to say, the outer layer is pretty firm but the part that touches the horse is very soft and squidgy. Seems to be fitting well, my daughter had a jumping lesson in it yesterday, pony got very sweaty!! No rubbing etc that I can see.
Overall pretty happy with it x
