Can anyone recommend one that’s available in the UK please? I love the PS of Sweden one but i can’t find one in the UK and if I import one the customs duty makes it rather too expensive. Also I’d rather have UK leather. I’ve seen the Dyon but it’s made from Spanish leather so not keen on that either. I’ve also seen Evo equine but I don’t like the look of it very much and think it has a clip on the throatlatch which I don’t think would be comfortable. Obviously I’m not fussy or anything!

Alternatively I could put one together with a headpiece and cheekpeices but I want to make sure the cheekpeices stay away from the eyes.

So any suggestions please?

I appreciate this isn't quite what you are asking, but I use a standard headpiece, cheekpieces and browband and have never had an issue with any part of the bridle sitting near to the eyes, although my sample size is only three horses. This was/is with an English hackamore and a German/continental hackamore. I did have to buy slightly shorter cheek pieces than I would use on the same bridle with a bit though. I haven't ever seen someone use a specific/special bridle with a hackamore (either leisure riders or professionals) so I am interested to see what suggestions get posted on this thread.

Thanks SL, that’s one option, I’m currently using a standard headpiece but it’s really old and I need a new one anyway so just trying to do the best I can. I’d also like an anatomical headpiece for comfort. I’ve borrowed a Stubben hackamore which is made to swivel when rein pressure is applied, so you don’t get the problem with the cheekpeices moving, but I think I need one with shorter shanks which means looking at a different brand.

There isn't anything in the UK apart from dyon that I have seen, I have been looking, there was one on Etsy from memory it might have been synthetic. There seems to be a bigger range in Europe but since brexshit it's difficult/costly to access. I was thinking of going to someone who makes bridles etc & getting a quote .

Thanks yes I am considering that option, I don’t think it would be any more expensive in all honesty. I’m just not very good at waiting!

I use a Barefoot Physio bridle, the cheekpiece sits well away from the eye. It's padded and a lovely bridle. Not sure if it is what you are after though.
Thanks I’ve been looking at something similar although not seen that particular one so will have a look 😊
