I was on my way to bed... thought I'd get a glass of water... wandered through the dining room and thought "What's missing from here?". All dogs accounted for, etc., then it dawned on me, no horsey gear...

Given that we're moving yards tomorrow* the Ds packed the Disco with a load of stuff today (and by 'stuff' I mean a few thousand pounds worth of rugs, tack, boots, bits, general flipping expensive horse gear), and all that should have ended up in the dining room, as being a good place for a sort through before being given its new home, only it wasn't there... :eek:

The flaming irriates had only gone and left it all in the flipping car! We live on quite a busy road and it is not the place to leave a car stacked to the rafters with gear!!!

So on with the back brace and cue me stomping up and down the garden path muttering obscenities :rolleyes::mad::eek:

The Ds did pop up and help, eventually (after a good door slam lol).

"Oops" they all said, "we forgot..."

Forgot!!!

The up side is D is now in my bad books, so will be most biddable tomorrow :D, the downside is that during my, remarkably restrained rant, I did let slip how much rugs, etc. etc. etc., cost. Oops. :rolleyes::cool:

* Moving yards because LC has to be out 24/7/365.

Rule 1 Never Ever let slip what rugs cost!! They ALL get given to you dont you know! either that or amazing 75% off sales spring up where ever you go!

Opps Mrs M broken rule 101 there its the one that says to the uninitiated all horsey gear cosst a maximum of 50 quid! doh

Good god Mrs M, what were you thinking!!!

You should know better that all your horsey gear was "gifted" or you won it in a horsey magazine competition.

I hope you put your mistake straight today.

Crazyfresian is right, it is not about what they cost you in those marvelous sales but what it would cost you to replace if they were stolen! :)

Arrghhh!!! I was once so stupid I brought my tack home to clean in the winter as no heating or anywhere to go no hot water etc. and was sat cleaning it outside and left my saddle out the front in the garden, work up during the night (around 3 am!!) and ran down stairs stressing and blinding, thank god my saddle was still there! I couldn't believe how stupid I had been - never happened again!
 
Don't tell how much things cost! Once one of them knows they'll all find out and eventually I'll be for it! OH thinks everything is a bargain from ebay or amazing clearance sales and I need it to stay that way.

Glad you rescued your stuff at least. Good luck with the move. I know I'm being lazy and I should find the original post but why does LC need to be out all the time? Is this something to do with the bone scan you were talking about or something else?
