I'm in love! She looks so much better already and her face is a picture. If I was closer I'd be begging to rehome her and I hope she finds a kind home when she's ready
She looks a little lurcherish to me. There's something about her head and she has a slightly longer body and shorter legs than a greyhound maybe? And the colouring is unusual and the tail looks slightly feathered too. Is it possible she was a travellers/gyspy dog?
Give your mum a pat on the back from us as she's doing a fantastic job and thanks for the update.
Don't tempt me CALA! You're in Derby aren't you, or somewhere northish. I'm right down in South Somerset.
She's actually raced has she? Can you trace where she went to from those records? Was she dumped and found or handed over by an owner?

Stop it I can't! Well I could but would it be fair with 3 other young dogs all vying for attention? I'm right down in the middle of the West Country on the Dorset border. If you can't find her a home when the time comes then let me know and we can talk about it but I'm sure she will be snapped up.
I'm Dianne from the Greyhound rescue who took Hope to Cala's Mum
When we first picked her up we thought that she was going to die in our car, but she survived the journey giving us hope (hence her name). We are truely grateful for all that both Cala and her mum have done for Hope, she would have undoubtly not made it without the care, love, kindness and pure dedication they have shown Hope.
