Since there is now crackly swelling down my boys cheek and on his forehead, he has definitely cracked/broken something in his skull...
Rang the vet as dad (doctor) said that the s.e something would mean broken bones in a human, she agreed so he is on bute for the weekend and observation obviously. Just hoping for no secondary infections.
That will teach me to keep my reins.
Poor boyo is feeling a tad sorry for himself, still a little trickle of blood edging down his nose as well. I'm kicking myself now for kicking on and finishing, although tbh he didn't need kicking. Arrgh..
Good news is if there are no complications he should be fit for necarne in two weeks.. we'll see, obviously his welfare is paramount.
Now...anybody have any idea how long this will take to heal/recover? He is for sale and for necarne so not sure what impact anyone thinks this will have on this?

Yes, but it means he has definitely broken something to allow the air into that area, not sure think we may be talking cracked sinus (dad+ vet talking medical talk which I'm not all that up on, will discuss later with him as we have visitors)
I do have a horrible fear that he will have done something awful and just suddenly drop dead, 8 hrs later anything would have shown I assume?
Anybody dealt with something similar?

I would think it unlikely that he's about to drop down dead. But also unlikely that you might be able to compete him again in two weeks time.

Well, update that he is still alive this morning, he is a bit sorry for himself and is on bute for a few days. A bit of a runny eye and his nosebleed doesn't seem to have come back. A little bit of discharge from his nose, but hard to tell if its his normal or not. We'll see, the vet will be oh so delighted as he has said before we just have to hope if he is ever ill/injured we better hope its serious enough to allow him to be examined...
